City Recital Hall

Nestled in Sydney's vibrant CBD, City Recital Hall is a purpose-built concert venue renowned for its exceptional acoustics and intimate atmosphere. The 1,238-seat auditorium, designed in a classical shoebox shape, features gently sloping stalls and two galleries that wrap around both sides and rear of the stage. The elegant décor includes grey and gold leaf tones, light timber panelling, and plum-coloured upholstery, complemented by a white marble grand stairway. Since its opening in 1999, the hall has hosted a diverse range of performances, from classical recitals to contemporary music events, solidifying its status as a premier destination for live performances in Sydney.
