Christ Church Anglican, located at 2 William Street in Longford, Tasmania, is a historic sandstone church constructed between 1839 and 1844. Designed by Robert de Little, the church features a broad buttressed nave with cast iron columns added in 1878. The magnificent five-light east window, depicting Christ and the Four Evangelists, was made by William Wailes in 1842 and is among the earliest figural windows in Australia. The church grounds include a cemetery with vaults of prominent local families, such as the Archer, Brumby, and Reiby families. The imposing west-end tower was completed in the 1960s, enhancing the church's architectural prominence.
