Located at the corner of Morts Road and Macquarie Place in Mortdale's town centre, the ChillOUT Hub serves as a vibrant community gathering spot. This innovative, off-the-grid, solar-powered space features a long table ideal for meetings and meals, complemented by integrated seating and tables, lighting, device charging stations, and public Wi-Fi. The hub also includes smart bins, smart drinking fountains, and planters, enhancing its sustainability and user experience. Cooling paint supergraphics are scheduled for installation, further contributing to the hub's unique atmosphere. The Mortdale ChillOUT Hub is part of a collaborative project between Georges River Council, UNSW, and Street Furniture Australia, aiming to create connected green spaces within urban environments.
