Cellito Beach, also known as Sandbar Beach, offers stunning views toward Seal Rocks and challenging surfing conditions with crystal-clear waters and excellent left and right-hand breaks. A five-minute walk along a timber boardwalk through a remnant patch of coastal rainforest leads to a viewing area overlooking the surf breaks. Behind the sandbar lies Smiths Lake, providing family-friendly swimming options. The lake is occasionally opened to the ocean to refresh its waters. This beach is not patrolled. Dogs on leads are permitted at certain times in the morning and evening. Four-wheel drive access is via Sandbar Caravan Park.
