
The Castle Rocks walk in Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve offers an 8.5 km return trail through eucalypt and native pine bushland, leading to a lookout with stunning views of sandstone pagoda formations. Along the way, birdwatchers can spot over 160 species, including the rare regent honeyeater and emus. The track is clearly signposted and features short steep hills and occasional steps, suitable for those with some bushwalking experience. Parking is available at the trackhead, and facilities include picnic areas and barbecues at Moolarben picnic area.
