Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place

Located at 20 Agonis Street in Doveton, the Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place serves as a vibrant community hub for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It offers a range of programs catering to all ages, reflecting the current and future needs of the Aboriginal community. The facility hosts regular events such as Yarn & Art sessions every Thursday and an Interactive Gardening Group every Tuesday, fostering cultural engagement and community connection. The Gathering Place also played a pivotal role in the development of the City of Casey's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan, aligning with the goals of reconciliation and self-determination.
