The Carmichael Falls Walk is a 2 km return trail within the Alpine National Park, starting along the Dinner Plain 4WD track. This Grade 3 walk, suitable for most ages and fitness levels, descends through snow gum forest to a viewing platform overlooking the picturesque Carmichael Falls. The falls drop 25 metres over basalt cliffs at the confluence of Precipice and Dinner Plain Creeks. While the trail ends at the viewing platform, experienced hikers may choose to scramble down to the base of the waterfall along an unmarked route.
