Carisbrook Historic House, built in the 1880s from locally quarried sandstone, offers a glimpse into Victorian-era life in Lane Cove. The house is furnished with 19th-century Australian antique furniture, providing an authentic experience of the period. Visitors can explore the rooms, each reflecting the daily life of the Brooks family, and enjoy traditional Devonshire teas in the garden courtyard. The house is open on the third weekend of every month, except December, from 10 am to 4 pm. Group tours can be arranged by appointment.
