Capel Marron Farm

Capel Marron Farm, located at 313 Goodwood Rd, Capel WA 6271, is a premier aquaculture facility specializing in the cultivation of marron, a freshwater crayfish native to Western Australia. Established in 1988 and revitalized in 2019, the farm has undergone significant redevelopment, including the expansion of its marron hatchery to meet the growing national and international demand. This expansion enables the farm to supply juvenile marron year-round, supporting local farmers and contributing to the local economy. The farm also features a fish processing facility capable of handling up to 4 tonnes of marron, ensuring high-quality products for both domestic and export markets.
