Cape Peron

Cape Peron, located within Rockingham Lakes Regional Park, offers a diverse coastal experience with its rugged limestone cliffs, sandy beaches, and offshore reefs. Visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing, walking, diving, swimming, and windsurfing. The area is also home to significant flora and fauna, including two threatened ecological communities: sedgelands in Holocene dune swales and thrombolites at Lake Richmond. Recognized as a Bush Forever site, Cape Peron is bounded on the south by the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, enhancing its environmental and recreational value.
