A 500-meter trail through regenerating littoral rainforest leads to the Cape Hawke Lookout, an 8.4-meter tower offering panoramic coastal views. Located at the northern end of Booti Booti National Park, the lookout provides vistas of Booti Booti to the south and Wallingat National Park to the west. On clear days, sights extend to Barrington Tops and Crowdy Bay National Park. The area is a haven for birdwatching, with pelicans and terns abundant year-round. In winter, it's an excellent spot for observing migrating whales.
