Nestled within the Reservoir Road Reserve in Paradise, the Campbelltown Community Orchard is a vibrant volunteer-run initiative managed by the Campbelltown City Council. Established in 2016, it features a diverse collection of up to 37 fruit and nut trees, offering a serene environment for community engagement. Volunteers participate in regular working bees, contributing to tasks such as mulching, pruning, and harvesting, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. The orchard also houses the historic Thorndon Park Reservoir pump house, adorned with a mural by artist Melanie Spurling, reflecting the area's rich heritage. Open to all, the orchard provides a welcoming space for learning, sharing skills, and connecting with others.
