Glenalvon House, built in 1840 by Michael Byrne, is a fine example of Colonial Georgian architecture. It serves as the headquarters for the Campbelltown and Airds Historical Society, which has been preserving the region's history since 1947. The museum showcases a diverse collection of artifacts, including agricultural tools and historical photographs, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's past. The property also features a heritage garden, coach house, and stables, providing a comprehensive historical experience. Open days are held on the second and fourth Saturdays, and the third Sunday of each month, from 10 am to 1 pm, except in January. Group tours can be arranged by appointment.
