Nestled on 25 acres in San Remo, Camp Breakaway offers a tranquil retreat for individuals with disabilities, their families, and carers. Established in 1982, this registered charity provides respite care through various camps tailored for children and adults with disabilities, as well as families with high medical needs. Accommodations include 16 fully accessible cabins and eight A-frame bunkhouses, collectively hosting up to 96 guests. The facility features a multi-purpose sports court, playground designed for all abilities, sensory bush trail, tranquil garden, and three lodges equipped with kitchens. As a registered NDIS service provider, Camp Breakaway also offers emergency respite care and hires its facilities to other respite care providers and the wider community to support its programs.
