
Callandoon is a rural locality in Queensland's Goondiwindi Region, situated on the border with New South Wales. The Macintyre River forms its southern boundary. Established in the mid-1840s as a pastoral station by Augustus Morris, it became the headquarters of the Native Police until 1853. The area is characterized by a mix of crop cultivation and native vegetation grazing. As of the 2021 census, Callandoon had a population of 32 residents.
