Byaduk Caves, located in Mount Napier State Park, are Australia's most extensive lava caves, formed when lava from Mount Napier solidified on the surface while molten lava continued to flow beneath. The largest cave measures 18 meters wide, 10 meters high, and extends 20 meters below the surface. Accessible by 2WD vehicles with ample parking, a short walk from the car park leads to various walking trails interconnecting with the caves, offering surface viewing areas. Visitors should wear appropriate footwear and bring a torch for exploration.
