Bushrangers Bay, nestled within the Mornington Peninsula National Park, offers a picturesque 5.4 km return walk from the Cape Schanck Lighthouse car park. The trail meanders through coastal and swamp scrub, leading to a magnificent sandy beach encircled by basalt cliffs. Along the way, walkers can enjoy views of the rugged coastline and the historic Cape Schanck Lighthouse. The beach is unpatrolled and often hazardous due to strong rips and large waves; swimming is not recommended. Visitors are encouraged to stay on designated paths to protect local wildlife, including the vulnerable Hooded Plovers.
