The property is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including a koala colony, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, and various bird species. Evans Plains Creek, which runs through the property, contains alluvial gold, making it popular for gold panning. The area is also known for its proximity to Bathurst's Mt. Panorama racetrack and the historic gold mining town of Sofala. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash to protect livestock and native animals. Campfires are permitted; campers should bring their own fire pit and collect only fallen wood. Please note that campers must bring their own camping toilet and remove all waste upon departure.
