Burraja Indigenous Cultural and Environmental Discovery Centre

Located on Gateway Island, the Burraja Indigenous Cultural and Environmental Discovery Centre serves as a vibrant gathering place that showcases Aboriginal and cultural heritage exhibits, artefacts, and artwork. The centre offers cultural tours, educational programs, and workshops, providing a safe space for healing through culture. It also features a bush tucker garden, preserving traditional knowledge of Indigenous plant use. Open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, the centre is a hub for community engagement and cultural education.
