It provides access from West Ballina to South Ballina, Keith Hall, Empire Vale, Patchs Beach, and East Wardell. Operated by Ballina Shire Council, the ferry runs daily from 5:30 am to 12:30 am, except on Christmas Day. The 300-meter crossing takes approximately four minutes, with a recommended 15-minute waiting time. Charges apply, with payment by card only; cash is not accepted.
