The Burnie Arts Centre, located at 77-79 Wilmot Street, is a vibrant cultural hub in Burnie, Tasmania. Established in the 1970s, it features a 370-seat proscenium arch theatre, a large multi-functional auditorium, and five function rooms, collectively offering 1,700 square metres of event space. The centre is equipped with high-quality audio and visual equipment, including professional lighting, projection, and sound systems, suitable for live performances, conferences, and presentations. An annual performing arts subscription season showcases a variety of local, Tasmanian, national, and international artists. The centre also hosts exhibitions, markets, and private functions, with onsite catering services and ample parking. The Town Hall and Box Office operate as normal during construction, while the Art Gallery and Arts Theatre are currently closed.
