The Bungendore Scout Hall, located at 66 Turallo Terrace in Bungendore, NSW, serves as the meeting place for the 1st Bungendore Scout Group, established in 1933. This vibrant group of approximately 80 youth members engages in a dynamic program of activities, including camps, canoeing, raft building, bushwalking, bushcraft, cycling, water safety, and community and environmental initiatives. The hall features a spacious main area measuring 17 meters by 15 meters with a ceiling height exceeding 7 meters, complemented by a sprung wooden floor and large north-facing windows that provide abundant natural light. Additional facilities include a commercial kitchen equipped with a 900 mm wide oven, a 5-burner stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, and a 20-liter urn. The hall is available for hire for various events, with rates varying based on the duration and type of use. Regular maintenance and community events, such as the ANZAC Day Gunfire Breakfast, are held to support the hall and engage with the local community.
