Bungaree Community Garden

Nestled within Ambrose Hallen Park in Toongabbie, the Bungaree Community Garden offers a welcoming space for residents to engage in sustainable gardening practices. Established nearly two decades ago, this community-led initiative provides an environment where individuals of all ages can participate in gardening activities, fostering social connections and promoting environmental stewardship. The garden features productive vegetable beds, native plants, and a Street Library, enhancing its role as a hub for community interaction and learning. Open to the public every Wednesday and Sunday from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, it invites everyone to join in cultivating a greener, more connected neighborhood.
