Established in 1888, the Bundaberg Rowing Club is one of Australia's oldest rowing clubs, celebrating its 135th anniversary in 2023. The club offers programs for all ages and skill levels, from 13-year-olds to veteran rowers, encompassing social rowing, fitness, and competitive racing. Local schools also utilize the club's facilities for year-round rowing programs. The club operates two well-equipped facilities: the Town Shed, located at the corner of Quay and Toonburra Streets, providing access to the Burnett River, and the Bucca Facility, situated off Longs Road in Bucca, approximately 30 minutes from Bundaberg's CBD, ideal for training sessions, regattas, and school or club camps.
