
Bukali is a rural locality in Queensland's North Burnett Region, Australia, with a population of 57 residents. Situated approximately 7 kilometers north-northeast of Monto, it encompasses an area of 46.8 square kilometers. The Gladstone-Monto Road traverses the area, with Monal Creek flowing parallel to it. The land is primarily used for grazing native vegetation, with some irrigated crops near the creek. Historically, the district was known as Monal Creek, with a school operating from 1925 until its closure in 1963. The name 'Bukali' is believed to be an Aboriginal word meaning 'cold' or 'bad smell'.
