Bray Hall Community Centre, located in the heart of Petrie, offers a versatile space suitable for various events. The hall measures 10.5 by 13.5 meters and includes a 3.9 by 6.9-meter stage, accommodating up to 120 people. Adjacent to Mathieson Park sports fields and ovals, it provides a peaceful backdrop. The venue features a self-service model, with all hirers responsible for set-up, pack-down, and cleaning. Accessibility is ensured with ramp access and an accessible toilet. On-site parking is available, including designated bays for disabled access. The kitchen is equipped with an urn, instant boiling water unit, fridge with freezer, microwave, sink, electric oven with cooktop, and crockery and cutlery for up to 60 people. Please note, cooking utensils, dishwashing liquid, washcloths, and tea towels are not provided. Smoking is prohibited within the venue and within 5 meters of the premises, except in designated smoking areas. Animals, except for assistance animals, are not permitted without prior approval. Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage, including sticky tape, pins, or tacks. A refundable security bond may be charged to cover potential damage during hire. For bookings, a minimum of one hour applies, and requests should be made at least five business days prior to the desired date. An online venue induction is required prior to booking. Bray Hall is managed by the Kallangur Halls Committee on behalf of the Council.
