Braefield is a small locality in northern New South Wales, Australia, situated along the Main North railway line and the Kamilaroi Highway. Established in 1878, the area once featured a railway station, but no trace remains today. The Braefield Rest Area, located between the railway line and the highway, offers a level space with picnic tables, fireplaces, and ample shade, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The area is pet-friendly, allowing dogs under certain conditions. Braefield is approximately 343 kilometers northwest of Sydney and 7 kilometers south of Quirindi.
