As part of Boortmalt Asia Pacific, headquartered in Melbourne, the plant underwent extensive upgrades to enhance quality, sustainability, and production efficiency. These improvements support the growing demand for brewing and distilling malts in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The Cavan Malthouse provides an additional annual capacity of 77,000 tonnes of malt, complementing existing operations in Port Adelaide and contributing to the local economy.
