Located approximately 15 km east of Wellington, near Dubbo in New South Wales, Bodangora Wind Farm is a 113.2 MW facility comprising 33 General Electric 3.43-130 wind turbines. Since its commissioning in 2019, it generates enough renewable energy to power approximately 49,000 homes annually. Developed and operated by Iberdrola Australia, the wind farm contributes to the region's clean energy capacity and supports local communities through its Community Fund and Enhancement Fund. The Community Fund allocates a minimum of $50,000 annually for at least the first 25 years of operation, administered by Dubbo Regional Council. Additionally, Iberdrola Australia contributes $17,000 each year to the Community Enhancement Fund, which sponsors local events.
