The Boambee East Community Centre, established in 1995, is a not-for-profit hub dedicated to fostering a strong, resilient, and creative community. It offers a safe, inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQI+ individuals, and those with diverse abilities. The Centre provides a range of services such as playgroups, free tax assistance, baby health services, trauma support programs, and counselling. It also hosts various community activities, including women's empowerment circles, family fun days, and senior week events. The Centre's facilities include a large hall, green room, kitchen, dining area, children's playground, comfortable lounge, book depository, four offices, and ample parking with disability access. In 2023, the Centre underwent significant renovations, enhancing its kitchen, play area, multimedia facilities, and accessibility features.
