Nestled in Blackheath, the Community Farm is a vibrant hub where locals gather every Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm to cultivate a diverse array of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Established in 2017 on land generously provided by Mountains Christian College, the farm has transformed into a thriving permaculture paradise. Volunteers engage in sustainable gardening practices, share knowledge, and enjoy communal picnics featuring the day's harvest. The farm also hosts workshops on topics like permaculture, composting, and water management, fostering a strong sense of community and environmental stewardship.
