The park features two large ephemeral wetlands, providing habitat for diverse birdlife and frogs. Visitors can enjoy 2.8 kilometers of flat, sealed trails suitable for walking, cycling, and skating. Amenities include wood barbecues (with provided wood), picnic tables, shelters, and wheelchair-accessible toilets. An adventure playground offers engaging play opportunities for children. Dogs are permitted on leashes. Access is available via Templestowe Road, with car park gates open from 6 am to 6 pm, extending to 9 pm during daylight savings.
