The Birdsville Big Red Bash is Australia's most remote music festival, held annually at the Big Red Dune in the Simpson Desert, 35 km west of Birdsville, Queensland. Since 2013, it has attracted thousands of music enthusiasts who travel from across the country to experience its unique desert setting. The festival is renowned for its eclectic lineup of Australian artists and its commitment to sustainability, operating without permanent infrastructure. After 11 consecutive years, the event is taking a break in 2025 and is scheduled to return from July 7 to 9, 2026.
