Birchs Bay, located approximately 35 minutes south of Hobart, is a picturesque coastal locality in southern Tasmania. The area is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring fields of native pepper, fruit orchards, and an extensive kitchen garden. Visitors can enjoy the 2 km Sculpture Trail, which showcases a variety of artworks set against stunning views of Bruny Island and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. The trail is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with an entry fee of $5 per person or $10 per family. Dogs on leads are welcome, and visitors are encouraged to bring picnics to enjoy during their visit.
