Bicentennial Gardens in Ballina features the region's first disc golf course, offering a nine-hole, 28-par layout suitable for all skill levels. The course is free to play and open from dawn until dusk. Discs can be hired from the Ballina Visitor Information Centre at 6 River Street, open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm. The Northern Rivers Disc Golf Club meets on the first Sunday of every month.
