Established in 1857, the Bendigo Botanic Gardens in White Hills is one of regional Victoria's earliest botanic gardens. The gardens feature a picturesque landscape around a central billabong, surrounded by various display gardens and plant collections, including the Cottage Garden of the Victorian Goldfields, the Habitat Garden, the Edwardian Garden, the Indigenous Garden, the Northern Victorian Garden, as well as the National Lavender Collection and National Canna Collection gardens. Visitors can also enjoy the Bendigo Botanic Garden Playspace and the Arch of Triumph.
