Located in a historic Bellman hangar at Benalla Airport, the Benalla Aviation Museum and Men's Shed showcases Australia's military aviation heritage. The museum features a unique collection of military training aircraft, including fully operational models like the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth, de Havilland DH.100 Vampire T.33 Jet trainer, and the Chinese-built Nanchang CJ-6A. Visitors can explore static displays, working engines, an antique flight training simulator, period uniforms, photographs, and a large collection of model aircraft. The Men's Shed offers members opportunities to participate in restoration and maintenance projects. Open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with group visits available by appointment. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for concession card holders, and free for children under 12.
