Beechford

Beechford is a tranquil seaside village on Tasmania's northern coast, approximately 22 kilometers northeast of George Town and 48 kilometers north of Launceston. Nestled where the Curries River meets Bass Strait, it offers unspoiled beaches, shallow basalt reefs, and boulder flats. The area is renowned for its warm, relatively dry micro-climate and stunning conservation zones, providing a serene environment for activities like walking, mountain biking, snorkeling, kite surfing, swimming, and fishing. The Beechford Recreation Ground features a playground, tennis court, and picnic area, enhancing the community's appeal.
