Bedervale Historic Homestead

Bedervale Historic Homestead, located at 1A Monkittee Street in Braidwood, NSW, is a heritage-listed Georgian Colonial-style house built between 1836 and 1840. Designed by architect John Verge for Captain John Coghill, the homestead features brick construction stuccoed to resemble sandstone, with a timber verandah and cedar interiors. The property includes original outbuildings such as stables, a coach house, and a gardener's cottage. The 2.8-hectare garden, established in 1974, offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Bedervale is listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register and is open to the public for tours and as a bed and breakfast.
