Housed in a historic 1879 building, the Beachport Old Wool and Grain Store Museum showcases the region's rich heritage. Exhibits highlight the local fishing industry, whaling history, agricultural practices, and the Buandik people's culture. Visitors can explore displays of blacksmith tools, farming equipment, and maritime artifacts. Upstairs rooms are furnished to reflect early 20th-century life, including a 1920s schoolroom and period-specific living spaces. The museum also features a replica blacksmith shop and a collection of electrical insulators from the Melbourne to Darwin overland telegraph line. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, with winter hours from 10 am to 3 pm. Entry fees are $5 for adults, $4 for concessions, $2 for children, and $10 for families. The museum is wheelchair accessible and offers parking, walking trails, picnic tables, a shop, guided tours, and group bookings.
