Bartopia Nature Refuge, located at Lot 89 Waterfall Creek Road, Maroon QLD 4310, is a 105-hectare conservation property dedicated to preserving natural habitats. Situated approximately 40 km south of Boonah, the refuge is accessible via a steep and rough road, best navigated by high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles. The area offers comfortable camping facilities, including two cabins with eight bunks each, flush toilets, and a gas-heated shower. A fully enclosed building provides a kitchen and communal space, while an outdoor fire pit offers a gathering spot for visitors. The refuge is home to diverse wildlife and is adjacent to the northern section of Mount Barney National Park.
