The Balmain Watch House, located at 179 Darling Street, is a historic building that has been preserved and maintained by the Balmain Association. It serves as the Association's headquarters and exhibition space, hosting art exhibitions most weekends of the year. The Watch House is open for visits during these exhibitions, usually from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. For history inquiries, it is staffed by a volunteer from the Balmain Association on Saturdays from 11:30 am to 3 pm, and the archives committee attends on Tuesdays from 11 am to 1 pm.
