Established in 1882, Balmain Rowing Club is one of Australia's oldest rowing clubs, offering both competitive and recreational rowing for all ages and skill levels. The club provides a supportive environment for junior rowers and individuals who may not have access to rowing through school or university. In 2021, the club celebrated its 140th anniversary and received the Sport NSW Community Club of the Year award. The heritage timber structure, located at the bottom of White Street, Balmain, has been meticulously restored to preserve its historical significance.
