The Ballarat International Foto Biennale, established in 2005, is Australia's premier photographic arts festival, immersing the historic city of Ballarat in visual storytelling. Held biennially, the festival spans 60 days, featuring a curated Core Program of exhibitions by renowned Australian and international photographers, alongside an Open Program that nurtures emerging artists. The 11th Biennale, running from 23 August to 19 October 2025, will showcase British-Ghanaian artist Campbell Addy's solo exhibition, "I ❤ Campbell," reflecting on his roots and inspiration. The festival also includes workshops, public programs, and the opening of the National Centre for Photography in October 2025.
