The Ballajura Community Garden, located at the corner of Cassowary Drive and Pelican Parade, is a collaborative initiative between Ballajura Community College, Rotary International, Community Connecting Youth Inc., and the City of Swan. Officially launched on August 19, 2021, the garden offers a vibrant space for local residents to cultivate food and share gardening knowledge. The project received significant support, including a $30,000 contribution from Rita Saffioti MLA, Member for West Swan. The garden continues to host various community events and workshops, fostering a strong sense of community engagement and environmental stewardship.
