Held annually in April at the Balingup Town Oval, the Balingup Small Farm Field Day is a vibrant celebration of sustainable small-scale farming and cottage industries. The 2025 event, themed 'Back to Basics,' features a variety of activities, including expert talks, live demonstrations, livestock displays, and a diverse range of market stalls offering local produce, gourmet foods, and handcrafted goods. Visitors can enjoy live music, wine, cider, and spirit tastings, as well as entertainment for children, such as camel rides, animal petting, and face painting. Farm visits are also available, providing insights into local farming practices. Proceeds from the event support community projects through the Balingup Progress Association.
