Badger Beach, located within Tasmania's Narawntapu National Park, is a 4.5 km stretch of exposed, high-energy coastline facing prevailing westerly winds. The beach features a narrow, moderately steep high tide zone backed by massive dune transgressions. Waves average 1-1.5 meters, creating an energetic surf zone. The area is backed by Holocene longwalled parabolic dunes extending up to 2 km inland. Access is via Badger Head Road, leading to a creek mouth near the southern end. The beach is popular for swimming and fishing, though conditions can be variable. Walking tracks connect Badger Beach to Badger Head and West Head, offering scenic coastal views.
