
Established in 1925, Avalon Beach Surf Life Saving Club has been safeguarding beachgoers for nearly a century. As a family-focused club, it offers a vibrant Nippers program, fostering youth development through education, training, and surf sports. The club hosts community events like the Lion Island Challenge and Carols at the Beach, and has a history of producing state, national, and world champions in surf competitions. With over 1,100 members, including more than 225 patrolling members, it continues to be a cornerstone of the Avalon Beach community.
