Australian Air Force Cadets - No 601 Squadron

601 Squadron, located at Keswick Barracks on Anzac Highway, has a rich history dating back to January 1946. Originally formed as No. 1 Flight at the Teachers’ Training College in North Adelaide, the squadron later moved to Keswick Barracks, where it established its first Squadron Band. Over the decades, 601 Squadron has built a tradition of excellence in leadership and community service, reflecting the rich symbolism and heritage celebrated in its milestones, such as the blessing of its Squadron Banner—a testament to its enduring contributions to the Australian Air Force Cadets.
