Assyrian Australian Association

Established in 1969, the Assyrian Australian Association (AAA) serves as a cornerstone for the Assyrian community in Fairfield, NSW. Located at 7 The Crescent, the AAA offers a range of services aimed at preserving Assyrian heritage and supporting community integration. The association operates the Ashurbanipal Library, a cultural heritage collection that houses over 3,000 items, including photographs, books, and artifacts, many of which are digitized for online access. Additionally, the AAA organizes cultural events such as the annual Assyrian New Year Festival, featuring music, dance, food stalls, and fireworks, attracting thousands of attendees. The association also provides assistance to new Assyrian migrants, helping them settle and integrate into Australian society.
